- Your full name
- Contact telephone number
- A brief description of the fault with the remote key
- Your return postal address (matching your order)
If possible, remove any keyrings or accessories before posting your key.

Once received we'll inspect, repair, fully test and return your remote as quickly as possible.
How long does the repair take?
Most repairs are completed within one working day of receiving your remote.
Battery drain faults and certain intermittent issues may require additional testing. We may retain the remote slightly longer to confirm the battery is no longer discharging abnormally and the fault has been fully resolved.
Do I need to send the complete key?
Yes. Please send the complete remote key including the key blade. This allows us to test remote locking, keyless entry (where applicable), the flip mechanism and overall operation.
Can I send my only remote key?
Yes. We regularly repair customers' only remote keys.
If the vehicle starts and drives normally you can safely send your only key. We recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery.
If the vehicle does not start or displays messages such as Key Not Detected, please contact us before ordering.
Will I need to reprogramme or resynchronise my remote key?
In the vast majority of cases no programming is required.
We retain or transfer the original immobiliser data, allowing the key to continue starting your vehicle.
Some vehicles require the remote locking and unlocking functions to be resynchronised after repair. If required, we'll provide clear instructions. This is usually a simple procedure requiring no specialist equipment.
My vehicle no longer starts with the key. Can you still repair it?
Please contact us before placing your order. Although the fault may be within the remote key, it could also indicate an immobiliser or vehicle-related issue.
Both of my remote keys have developed the same fault. What does this mean?
If both keys failed at exactly the same time it's more likely to be a vehicle fault. If both became unreliable over time they may simply require repair.
We can service and test your remote key(s) to help determine the cause.
What happens if my remote cannot be repaired?
If your remote cannot be repaired we'll contact you before carrying out any additional work and discuss the available options and costs.
Is my original key retained?
Wherever possible we retain your original remote key. Depending on the repair we may repair the original circuit board or transfer the original immobiliser data to a replacement circuit board. Some services also include fitting a new key case or cutting a replacement key blade.
Do you offer a postal service throughout the UK?
Yes. We provide a UK-wide postal remote key repair service, allowing customers across the UK to send their remote to us for repair and receive it back quickly once completed.
